OK, so I have screwed the grille panel onto a piece of fairly flat wood, and drawn around the three cut-outs. The plan: cut the bottom two (rotten) inches off, then butt weld a new panel onto this, with the assembly still screwed down.then, I will simply (!) form the lips around the apertures, then weld the grille brackets back on, job’s a good ‘un. Or is there a better way?
