Chesterfield against Incineration

Friday, February 20th, 2009

Do we want to live near a potentially hazardous waste incinerator? NO!
A company has submitted a planning application to derbyshire County Council to build a gasificaytion, incineration planton Dunston Road, Chesterfield. This is an area overlooking Barlow, Dronfield and Unstone, and will generate about 370 heavy goods vehicle movements on local roads that are not much more than country lanes. I urge anyone reading this to contact derbyshire planning department, quoting ref CW2/0708/56 expressing your concern

Also, have a look here (click on the following) which will tell you a lot more.
