Various photos, including a couple of very wierd three wheelers, and two very atmospheric shots. When I arrived at Elvington, a couple of miles from York, it was very misty, (and col) but when the sun burned the mist away, it was a nice hot day, with warm tarmac to give extra grip, so much so that I managed to beat John Stephens bogey time from last year! The critics might say that John’s bogey was set under extreme wet conditions. I say that it doesn’t matter, just shove youre bogey in your pipe and smoke it John!

a day at Brodsworth Hall

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

Jane and I spent a glorious sunny September day at the Engish Heritage property Brodsworth Hall.

I think I should have put captions on before I uploaded the gallery. Ho hum, remember next time. Anyway, they are at Brodsworth Hall, near Doncaster. It is an English Hertitage property, and worth a look around.

She has eventually received her medal for extreme bravery shown in the fields of Lancashire fighting off marauding hoards of Yorkshiremen intent on stealing her asparagus.

Jane has just spent a week in Carcassonne, in the South of France, on a Mosaic Course. This is the result of her efforts.
